Wreck on 252 resulted in minor injuries

Last Friday night, October 18th a two car collision occurred at the corner of 252 and Cr 502 near Erin. This is adjacent to the Po' Mans Haunted Woods and Whispering Grove Renaissance Faire.

The Department of Public Safety Media Sergeant Shana Clark said, "The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 10:52 p.m., a 2006 Ford F-150 was traveling north on F.M. 252, while a 2014 Jeep Compass was traveling west on C.R. 502. It is reported that the driver of the Jeep failed to yield to the Ford at the intersection and pulled into its path where it struck the Ford".

The driver of the Ford, identified as 23-year-old Kyleigh Williams of Kirbyville, and a 19-year-old passenger, were not injured.

The driver of the Jeep, identified as 33-year-old Kari Moore of Kirbyville, and a 14-year-old passenger, were treated on scene for non-life-threatening injuries.
