A CHANGE IN THE UPPER PATTERN IN ABOUT A WEEK! We knew sooner or later especially as we get to late August and closer to Sept. the upper pattern would begin to change. This week though see top graphic hot with very little rain chances with the Heat Dome in place. In about a week the High (see bottom Graphic) begins to weaken and shift north. This will allow not so hot temperatures and a chance of showers to return. Now before you ask about the Heat Dome leaving in a week (see bottom graphic) will we see a tropical system, Thankfully nothing is indicated on the playing field as of now for next week. An upper Low will pass to our south next weekend with a few showers.

Drier air will arrive the next couple of days with lower humidity as shown below. May see some lows in the low 70's Wednesday and Thursday A.M. before it rises again. Click on image below to enlarge.
