Virginia Martindale August 18, 1933 - April 3, 2024
A Graveside Celebration of Virginia Martindale’s Life, age 90, of Jasper, Texas, will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Little Hope Cemetery, Jasper, Texas. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2024 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper.
Virginia died on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family and was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Jasper. Virginia liked playing the piano, singing, sewing, playing dominoes and working crossword puzzles. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking and spending time with them.
Virginia is survived by her son, Mark Martindale and wife Kathy of Jasper, Texas; daughter, Marsha Rivers and husband Wayne of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; brother, James Aarant and wife Lucille of Tyler, Texas; grandchildren, Courtney Parker and husband Josey, Jonathan Rivers and wife Vivi, Clark Martindale and wife Jessica, Lauren Fry and husband Stephen, Channing Riggs and husband Alex; great grandchildren, Jackson, Diego, Lucas, Raphael, Felix, Jase Henry, Caleb, Lucas and Micah. She was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Robie Aarant and husband of 57 years, L.H. “Luke” Martindale.
