Vandal faces "grave" consequences, arrested for Reckless Damage or Destruction of the Kirbyville Cemetery

On January 28th, 2025, the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office received information regarding vandalism at the Kirbyville Cemetery. An investigation was initiated and photographs were received of an actor in a vehicle deliberately tearing up the property.

The Sheriff’s Office located the vehicle and the actor. An arrest warrant was obtained and Henry Shaw, 20, of Kirbyville was arrested for Reckless Damage or Destruction (MC) at approximately 1:45 p.m. on January 29th, 2025. Mr. Shaw was brought to the Jasper County Jail and charged with Reckless Damage or Destruction (MC). Mr. Shaw is innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
