Update on possible drowning search

1800 (6pm) HOURS UPDATE SEARCH AT HWY 190 EAST BRIDGE:

We continued our search today with negative results. We flew the area with a drone and searched the water and shoreline by boats using sonar equipment.

Searchers today were members of the NCSO, Texas Parks and Wildlife, Bon Wier and Deweyville VFDs, Beauregard Parish S.O., and Merryville VFD.

The family and searchers appreciated the food and drinks provided by Bon Wier Baptist Church. The search will continue in the morning.
