Jasper woman flipped her car early this morning on FM 2800

The Texas Department of Public Safety investigated a crash on Farm-to-Market Road 2800, at the intersection of County Road 098, that occurred early this morning.

The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 5:50 a.m., a 2011 Dodge Nitro was traveling north. It is reported that the driver was traveling at a speed which was unsafe when she came to the Y-intersection and traveled off the road to the right, causing the vehicle to overturn.

The driver, identified as 36-year-old Jessica Blare of Jasper, was transported to Jasper Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
