Two vehicle rollover accident across from Jasper Lowe's

Just before 6pm Thursday, a two vehicle rollover accident happened on Hwy 190 West in Jasper.

Jasper EMS transported two people to Jasper Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Currently, it is unknown exactly what happened, but from what we were told at the scene, a burgundy Jeep and a black Scion collided, causing the Jeep to rollover.

Dispatch initially said that the Scion was smoking, however it turned out to be coming from the radiator.

Jasper Police and Jasper Volunteer Fire Department were able to quickly get the situation under control.
