Two vehicle accident early Sunday morning sent Kirbyville man to the hospital
At 12:25 am Sunday morning, Kirbyville Volunteer Fire Department, Jasper County Sheriff's Department, and the Texas Department of Public Safety were called to Hwy 1013 East of Kirbyville, near County Road 582, to a two vehicle accident.
The DPS Media Sergeant Shana Clark said, "The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 12:25 a.m., a 2001 Honda Accord was traveling southeast on F.M. 1013. It is reported that the driver of a 2017 Honda Accord pulled from a private drive and into the path of the 2001 Honda and was struck."
The driver of the 2001 Honda, identified as 70-year-old Charlotte Jedlick of Kirbyville, was transported to Jasper Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the 2017 Honda, identified as 18-year-old James Hall of Kirbyville, was not injured.
