Two-Vehicle Accident at Houston Street and Highway 96 in Jasper

Around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, the Jasper Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Houston Street and Highway 96, directly in front of Jasper Exxon Towing. The collision involved a Jeep and a small four-door sedan. EMS was also requested to the scene.
The extent of injuries remains unknown at this time.
As of 2:00 p.m., the Jasper Fire Department has cleared the scene and is en route back to the station. Traffic in the area has resumed normal flow.
