Tropical warnings have been lifted for Jasper County

ETB spoke to Jasper County Judge Mark Allen about the Tropical warnings that were issued for our area. Allen said, "I believe the National Weather Service has also dropped the Tropical Storm Warning for Jasper County as well (Newton announced theirs earlier today), thankfully due to its shift to the east. However, we will continue to monitor this storm until it makes landfall in Central Louisiana to ensure that we can respond quickly in the event of any flooding, high speed winds or tornado activity that might spin off of it."
