A tropical wave in the Eastern Atlantic had a moderate chance of becoming a tropical cyclone as it heads towards the Bahamas Friday, the weekend.

Upper level high pressure will dominate our area's weather through Friday resulting in highs in the mid 90s, triple digit heat indices and generally dry weather conditions.

This weekend, the high will break down allowing in scattered showers and storms and lower high temps.
