Tri-Community VFD's 1st Annual Family "Fun"draiser was a great success!

Everyone already knows that if you want some amazing food, go to a Southeast Texas VFD fundraiser, but Tri-Community VFD has definitely raised the bar for good food and entertainment for our area! To verify that, ETB sent our very own Photojournalist Rita Shipp to the event!

In a recent post, Tri-Community Public Information Officer Paul Rutledge said, "We’re incredibly grateful for the amazing support from our community during our 1st Annual Family "Fun"draiser! Your enthusiasm and generosity made this event a huge success."

A special shout out to our generous sponsors, especially Fish Tales Jasper, for donating all the cooking!

Huge thanks to The Bonami Band for keeping the evening lively with their fantastic music.

Thank you to everyone who attended, made a donation, and supported us last weekend.

We also want to extend our gratitude to those from surrounding areas and neighboring VFDs who came to lend a hand. Big thanks to Beech Grove VFD, Jasper TX for not only bringing out the bounce house but also sending EMTs, 1st Responders, and Fire Fighters to cover our territory so we could keep the event going safely.

A big thank you to LifeShare Blood Center - Beaumont for sending a crew to collect blood donations. They came expecting to get 8 units and ended up with a total of 9 from our generous community.

A heartfelt thank you to Chuck Havard for your invaluable assistance and support.

Now for the numbers...

Drumroll, please... We set a record with a total of $8,730.51! This incredible amount will greatly help us continue supporting our community.
