Tornado Watch for entire area

A Tornado Watch is in effect until 7 PM for the entire area. Storms through early afternoon will be capable of small hail. After 3 PM coverage will increase, at this time the best chance for any tornadoes will be north of I-10. Storms will be east of the area after 8 PM

The line of storms west of Houston is what will arrive in the Triangle around 6 PM. Ahead of the line in the Lakes area is where the better chance of tornadoes would be if they develop (supercells). Chances are low but not zero. All activity will be east of the area by 8 PM
