Tommy Joe Bevil November 3, 1943-August 27, 2024

Tommy Joe Bevil’s Life, age 80, of Jasper, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas surrounded by his loving family.

A native and lifelong resident of Jasper, Texas, Tommy was a 1962 graduate of Jasper High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jasper, Texas. He did industrial supply sales for many years before opening and operating Bevil Sporting Goods in Jasper before his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, skeet shooting and riding motorcycles.

Tommy is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia Bevil ofJasper, Texas; daughter, Belinda Powers and husband James of Jasper, Texas; brother, George Bevil and wife Beth of GrandBlanc, Michigan; grandson, William Bower, Jr. and wife Stacie; granddaughter, Stacey Bennett and husband Cooter; great grandchildren, Kaitlynn Faulk and husband Micheal, Hillary Bower, Hunter Bennett, Hannah Bennett and Austin Bower; and great-great grandchildren, RaeLynn, Kastyn and Kamdyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Louise Bevil.
