William Christian Thomas has been sentenced to 60 years for the murder of Jasper mom
A Livingston man has pleaded guilty to the November 18, 2023 murder of a Jasper woman.
William Christian Thomas of Livingston went before District Judge Craig Mixon in Jasper and pleaded guilty on Thursday to the first degree murder of his then girlfriend, 24-year-old Rosalin Lewis of Jasper. In his plea agreement, Thomas received a 60 year prison sentence.
Lewis was a mother of three children all under the age of 6.

As we previously reported, a young woman was beaten to death at Myrtis Village apartments in Jasper early Saturday morning.
According to Jasper Police, the victim, 24-year-old Rosalin Lewis was beaten to death in her home at the complex. Her boyfriend, 23-year-old William Christian Thomas of Livingston was arrested on Saturday and arraigned Sunday morning, charged with her murder.
Thomas is currently being held in Jasper County Jail on a $1,000,000 bond.
Lewis was reportedly the mother of three small children.
