The Newton County Nutrition Program seeking donations for the upcoming holiday season

Citizens of Newton County,

As we approach the season of Thanksgiving, it’s important to take a moment to reflect on the meaning of this cherished holiday. Thanksgiving has long been a time to come together with loved ones, express gratitude for the blessings in our lives, and share in the spirit of giving.

This Thanksgiving, let us extend that spirit of gratitude beyond our homes and tables by helping those in our community.

Local food programs play a crucial role in ensuring that everyone has access to nutritious meals, especially during the holiday season.

The Newton County Nutrition Program is one such initiative, working tirelessly to serve those in need, and we are currently seeking donations to form a nonprofit organization that will support the efforts they are making.

With your donation, we can expand our reach and provide even more assistance to individuals who rely on this vital program.

We encourage all who are able to consider donating to the Friends of the Newton County Nutrition Program.

We have an initial goal of $300 that will be used to finalize the paperwork to form the non-profit then, moving forward, ALL proceeds will be donated directly to the Newton County Nutrition Program.

Together, we can ensure that that seniors in our county have the opportunity to enjoy a warm and nourishing meal this Thanksgiving and throughout the year.

Thank you for your generosity, and may you and your families have a safe and joyful Thanksgiving holiday.
