The dirt work at the Dixie Community Fire Station is underway

In a press release Thursday, Beech Grove Volunteer Fire Department Chief James Gunter, said the dirt work at the new Dixie Community fire station is underway and the building pad should be finished soon, weather permitting.

Jasper County Commissioners Precinct 1 Seth Martindale, and Precinct 2 Kevin Holloway have been hard at work this week moving dirt.

Once the pad is complete, forms for the foundation are next, then rough in plumbing and electrical, and then concrete!

Good things are coming and we’re moving in the right direction.
