Strong storm system to push through the area starting tomorrow

A storm system is expected to develop on Wednesday over the Southern Plains then move eastward on Thursday pushing a cold front through the region. Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are forecast to form ahead of the front by Thursday afternoon into Thursday night. Some of these storms will have the potential to become severe with damaging winds, large hail, and even a few quick spin up tornadoes, to go along with heavy rainfall that may cause street flooding.
