Stolen truck discovered burned out near Deweyville

A few days back, Jasper County Sheriff's Department was seeking the help of the public to locate a stolen work truck that had been used in a burglary in Buna.

Today, Newton County Sheriff Robert Burby said that the truck has been located. Burby said, "The truck was found on County Road 4191 near Deweyville. Someone had abandoned it and set it on fire."

As of Tuesday evening, no arrests have been made.
