Updated information: Single vehicle rollover in Kirbyville's Tram Town community
At around 6:30 this evening, Kirbyville Volunteer Fire Department, Kirbyville Police Department, Jasper County Sheriff's Department and the Department of Public Safety were called the the intersection of County Roads 404 and 406 in the Tram Town area of Kirbyville.
The caller said that a car flipped on its roof and that the driver was trapped in the vehicle. She also stated that the car had initially exploded but it is not currently on fire.
Once authorities arrived they were able to free the man who will be flown to a hospital for treatment.
The drivers family has been notified and are with him now.

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers investigated a crash on County Road 404, near County Road 406, that occurred Saturday, March 9, 2024.
The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 6:32 p.m., a 2017 Ford Mustang was traveling south. It is reported that the driver was traveling at an unsafe speed and lost control, traveling off the road to the right, where it struck a culvert and overturned.
The driver, identified as 53-year-old Gregory Hadnot of Kirbyville, was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
This is an ongoing investigation, and no further information is available at this time.
