Shelton Guy Matt of Evadale dies at age 65

Shelton Guy Matt, 65 of Evadale passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024 at his home. 

Funeral service will be 2 pm Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Bean Cemetery. 

Born September 12, 1958 to Berchman Matt and Ethel (Hardy) in Port Arthur, he worked in construction. 

He is survived by brother, Walter Matt and Anita of Kirbyville; sisters, Debra Breed and Stafford of Early, Sharen Beazey and Tommy of Brownwood, Brenda Greer and Michael of Silsbee; nieces and nephews, Wilina Ellis, Justin Beazey, Cassle Breed, Jolie Emison-Maples, Lucy Greer, Matthew Matt.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Warren Matt.
