Roganville VFD to receive Weather Station

Roganville Fire Chief Mike Smith said, "

I received a call from Greg Bostwick from KFDM. He said that he is very interested in putting a weather station at Roganville Fire station."

Smith said that in order to do this, the department needs a sponsor to pay the $1,100 one time fee. Smith said, "This will give them advertising every time someone clicks the link and every time the KFDM weather person announces the Roganville weather, the sponsor will be mentioned. I've had a few businesses talk to me about it, but so far none have come through".

Smith added, "If you would like to be a part of having our very own weather station and have the ability to have real time weather, right here in our community, you can donate to this cause.
