Public transportation project for the City of Jasper has been postponed

City of Jasper Public Transportation Pilot Project
The Southeast Texas Regional Planning Commission (SETRPC) is working to expand public
transportation options in the City of Jasper. The planned March 3, 2025, launch of demand
response curb-to-curb public transportation services in the City of Jasper has been delayed due to
circumstances beyond our control.
“We are dedicated to bringing accessible public transportation options to the residents of the City of Jasper and are working diligently to resolve these logistical challenges,” said Bob Dickinson, Director of Transportation and Environmental Resources at SETRPC. “We appreciate the
community’s patience as we continue efforts to implement a public transportation service.”
This program is funded by the Texas Department of Transportation Public Transportation
Division (PTN) Service Expansion Program (SEP). SETRPC remains committed to keeping the
public informed and will provide updates as soon as additional details become available.
