Possible drowning update

We have continued search efforts at the Sabine River Bridge on Highway 190 East again today, still with no results. The search will resume tomorrow.

From Previous Report:

We received a report of an individual observed jumping from bridge yesterday around noon. We are joined by Texas and Louisiana Parks and Wildlife, Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office, Bon Wier VFD, Deweyville VFD, Merryville VFD, and Merryville PD. We used sonar in the boats and flew the general area by air with a fixed wing plane.
