Updated information: One vehicle rollover near Jasper sends driver to jail
Updated information;
DPS Media Sergeant Shana Clark said, "The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 1 a.m., a 2020 Ford Ranger pickup was traveling east and reportedly traveled off the road to the right and overturned. An investigation into the driver determined her to be intoxicated".
The driver, identified as 68-year-old Jennifer Gutierrez of Humble, suffered minor injuries. Gutierrez was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor offense.

At 12:56 am early Sunday morning, Beech Grove Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a single vehicle accident on US Highway 190 about 3/4 of a mile west of FM 1747. The driver was reported to still be in the vehicle and the vehicle was reported to be upside down coming to rest in standing water.
Beech Grove VFD Chief James Gunter said, "Arriving units found a Ford Ranger upside down in a drainage ditch with a single female occupant inside the vehicle. She was assessed and she reported that she was not injured. She was removed from the vehicle and then assessed by Allegiance Mobile Health - Jasper EMS and refused treatment."
The accident was investigated by Texas Department of Public Safety - Southeast Texas Region and the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office - TX. The occupant/driver was detained by the investigating state trooper and transported to the Jasper County Jail.
The vehicle was recovered by Jasper Xxon Towing And Recovery.
Beech Grove VFD responded with Engine 11 and 5 firefighters.
