Updated: One vehicle roll-over next to train on Hwy 363 in Kirbyville

Just after 5 pm today Kirbyville Volunteer Fire Department, Kirbyville Police, and the Department of Public Safety was called out to Hwy 363 at the railroad tracks for a one vehicle roll-over accident.

DPS Media Sergeant Shana Clark said, "The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 5:08 p.m. a 2003 Chevrolet Blazer was traveling west. It is reported that the driver failed to drive in a single lane to the right, overcorrected the maneuver back to the left, which caused it to overturn multiple times in the south ditch."

The driver, identified as 18-year-old David Collier of Vidor, was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
