John David Van Andel, 33, of Buna died Thursday, September 19, 2024 near Buna.

John was born September 23, 1990 in the Naval Hospital in Lemoore, California to Sean Michael Van Andel and Barbara (Goodburn) Van Andel.

John was a Vessell Superintendent for Oceaneering.

He is survived by his wife, Cha Cha Hernandez of Buna; children, Autumn Hernandez, John Van Andel, and Leighla Van Andel; all of Buna;  his father, Sean Michael Van Andel of Houston; his mother, Barbara Van Andel of Lemoore, CA;  and brothers, Steven Goodburn and wife Leslie of Michigan and Colin Van Andel of League City.

Cremation was under the direction of Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna.
