Obituary of William Dale Vaughn January 11, 1938 - November 9, 2024

William Dale Vaughn, 86 of Buna passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024 at his home.

Funeral service will be 11 am Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Buna with burial at Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 am prior to service.

Born January 11, 1938 to Newman Vaughn and Euna (Cochran) in Buna, he worked in maintenance for the paper mill.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Vaughn; best friend, Sadie; daughters, Cindy Goodson and Joe, Kathy Purkey and Gene, Alena Vaughn; sons, Jimmy Vaughn, Ricky Vaughn and Roxanne; grandchildren, Dustin Smith and Shannon, Cody Luoma, Ashley Rose and Cade, Andrea Baum and Jason, Jake Wheeler and Taylor, Chelsye Stott and Josh, Zackary Vaughn, Maggie Vaughn; great grandchildren, Gavin, James, Isaac, Keith, Jade, Everly, Crew, Amzi, Westin, Lakyn, Rayburn, Kyler, Kassidi, Braydon, Allyson, Jace, McKenna, Casen, Caden, Xaylee, Caysen, Caleb.

He was preceded in death by sons, James Earl Vaughn, Bill Vaughn; brother, Donald Vaughn.
