Obituary of Wallace Glenn Jr. Saturday, May 17th, 1952 – Sunday, November 3rd, 2024

Wallace Glenn Jr., 72 of Jasper, Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by family Sunday, November 3, 2024 in Beaumont, Texas.

Wallace (Boss Man) Glenn Jr., born on May 17, 1952, to Wallace and Charlene Glenn, entered eternal rest on November 3, 2024.

A proud native of Jasper, Texas, Wallace joined Mt. Olive at an early age and was lovingly known as his family’s very own cowboy. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching westerns, and spending time with close friends and family. A true entrepreneur, Wallace made his mark as one of the top skilled local carpenters. Throughout his life, Wallace faced many challenges and brought both laughter and tears to his loved ones, particularly during his recent illness, which he fought bravely showcasing his indomitable spirit. His presence was always a source of joy, and his humor left many with cherished memories. His family remembers, “If you were not careful, you would definitely end up being the tail end of one of his jokes”.

Wallace was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Sr. and Charlene Glenn, his sister Shirley Glenn, his nephew Marcus Glenn, and his niece Quintina Houston. He leaves behind a loving legacy through his two sons, Hassan Henton and Wallace Glenn III of Baytown, and his grandchildren, Sir Trystan, Sir Rayden, and Omi Henton. His memory will also be cherished by his siblings, Alice Glenn of Jasper and Donald (Dionne) Glenn of Pearland, along with his nieces and nephew, LaKendra, Kaylyn, and Brandon. His special Aunt Pearlie Brumley, along with a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends, will miss him dearly.

Wallace’s life was a testament to resilience, love, and laughter, and his legacy will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew him.
