Obituary of Shane Kibodeaux October 16, 1970- November 29, 2024

Shane Kibodeaux, 54, of Mineola Texas passed away on November 29, 2024, at UT Health Tyler in Tyler Texas after a long battle with diabetes, kidney failure, and congestive heart failure.

Born October 16th of 1970, Shane was a long time resident of Kirbyville Texas and class of 1989 Graduate of Kirbyville High School.

Shane’s quick wit and sense of humor brought joy to everyone around him, and it’s how many will fondly remember him. His ability to make people laugh, even in spite of his own struggle, was a true testament to his spirit.

Shane was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Mary Yvonne Kibodeaux, also of Kirbyville, Texas.

He is survived by his only son Andrew, and wife Sarah, of Newton; his three cherished granddaughters, Ayva, Eryn, and Aubrey; and his infant grandson, Adam.

Shane’s family will honor his wishes with cremation, entrusted to Fairway Crematory in Van, Texas. With a small family memorial following.

Shane will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those he loved most.
