Obituary of Ronald Edward Perry February 23, 1953 - December 13, 2024

Ronald Edward Perry died Dec. 13, 2024 in Kirbyville, Texas where he lived for his entire life.


He was born Feb. 23, 1953 in Jasper, Texas to Edward Perry and Billie Jean Morris


He is preceded by his father, Edward Perry, son, Justin Perry; brother, Tracy Russell; and sister, Linda Perry Dunn.


Survived by: His wife of 51 years, Linda Perry; mother, Jeanne Morris; son, Eric Perry & his wife Kenzie; their daughters Jadyn, Taryn, Krislyn (Rosie “papa’s darlin”) and Bostyn; great grandson, Daxtyn; sisters, Amy Busby Sister and Rita Perry; brother, Joseph Perry; step-mother, Joaquina Perry as well as numerous nieces nephews.


He was a wonderful and caring husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was also an extraordinary caregiver to his mother, Jeannie Morris, and best friend to Les Paws, his faithful cat. Attended Kirbyville high school and was a Member of Local Union #798 in Tulsa, OK, as a pipeline welder. He worked as a Welder in several refineries in East Texas & Louisiana. Although he worked as a welder, his passion was music. He was a lead singer & guitar player in several bands through the years, including most recently, The Amazing Timekeepers.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the funeral home.
