Obituary of Rebecca Lynn Vannoy March 1, 1960 - December 29, 2024

A Celebration of Rebecca Lynn Vannoy’s Life, age 64, of Rayburn Country, Texas, will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper, Texas. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the Funeral Home.


Rebecca passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at her home in Rayburn Country, Texas surrounded by her loving family.


A native and former resident of Evansville, Wisconsin, Rebecca had been a resident of Rayburn Country, Texas for the past 23 years and had been employed by Lowe’s for over 18 years. She enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting for arrow heads around the lake and watching the butterflies in her garden. Rebecca loved the special times spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.


Rebecca is survived by her mother, Susan Knudson of Evansville, Wisconsin; husband of 46 years Dan Vannoy of Rayburn Country, Texas; daughters, Sarah Hass and husband Jeremy of Rayburn Country, Texas, April Kundert and husband Tom of Evansville, Wisconsin and Stephanie Baker and husband Josh of Silsbee, Texas; brothers Jeffery Knudson and wife Clara of Evansville, Wisconsin and David Knudson and wife Norma of Evansville, Wisconsin; sister, Debra Kopp and husband Rick of Evansville, Wisconsin and eight grandchildren, Savannah, Gavin, Brooke, Olivia, Vanessa, Canyon, Astrid and Huxley.


She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Knudson.


In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Olive Branch Hospice 2014 S. Wheeler, # 250, Jasper, Texas, 75951.


Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
