Obituary of Randy Gibson December 27, 1966 - March 15, 2025

Randy Gibson, 58, of Warren, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Tyler County Hospital in Woodville, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 5 – 8 p.m. on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Richardson Cemetery in Warren. Officiating will be Brother Jacob Spivey and Ken Cauthen. Serving as pallbearers will be Matt Johnson, Kyle Foster, Rodney Krebs, Jamie Lane, Billy Read, and Wade Read. Honorary pallbearer will be Harold Yawn.

Randy was born December 27, 1966 to Thomas Oliver and Brenda Griffin Gibson in Beaumont, Texas. A longtime resident of Warren and a 1985 graduate of Warren High School. He was a truck driver for over 30 years with Read Logging. He enjoyed fishing and golfing. Randy was a member of the Emergency Service District 4 Board of Directors and the Tyler County Fair Board for a number of years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Brenda Gibson;

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Connie Gibson of Warren; son, Gary Gibson of Warren; daughter, Laci Gibson Smith and husband Fred in Vidor; sister, Kathy Cherry of Cypress; one grandchild on the way, “Rhea”; mother-in-law, Juanita Grissom of Fred; and a host of other family and friends.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas.
