Ramona Sue Bodden September 7, 1956 - January 11, 2025 

Ramona Sue Bodden, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 68. 

She was a resident of Vidor, Texas. 

Born on September 7, 1956, Ramona was the daughter of the late Maurice Droddy (August 8, 2004) and Helen Droddy (February 5, 1995). 

She is survived by her siblings, Gene Droddy and his late wife Carolyn, Diana and Willy Pratt, Kaye and Junior Marie, and Lori James. 

Ramona's family was her greatest joy. She is survived by her children, Mark and Peggy Holley, and Krystal and Kevin Clark; grandchildren, Destiney and Joey Gonzalez, Christianna Holley, Grace Clark, Emma Clark, Nathan Lewis, and Nicole Lewis; and great-grandchild, Journi Gonzalez. 

A devoted entrepreneur, Ramona owned and operated the Starlight Bar and a successful cleaning business. She was a proud graduate of French High School in Beaumont, Texas. Ramona was an active member of Grace Community Church and enjoyed sewing, shopping, dancing, and cooking in her free time. 

A celebration of Ramona's life will be held on Saturday, January 18th, at Adam’s EE Stringer Funeral Home, 34490 US 96 South, Buna, TX 77612. Visitation will begin at 12 pm, followed by the funeral service at 2 pm. Burial will follow at Trout Creek Cemetery, 1509 FM 1004, Call, TX 75933.
