Obituary of "Ike" Dwight Jones August 10, 1953 - October 7, 2024

Graveside Celebration of “Ike” Dwight Jones’ Life, age 71, of Jasper, Texas, will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2024 at the North Baptist Cemetery in Jasper, Texas.

Ike passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024 at Rayburn Health and Rehabilitation in Jasper, Texas.

A native and lifelong resident of Jasper, Ike retired after many years of service from Toledo Finance in Jasper. He enjoyed sports like baseball and football. He especially liked watching the Dallas Cowboys and Jasper football and baseball.

Ike is survived by his brother, Charles Jones and wife Linda of Oklahoma and his sisters, Janet Martz and husband Paul of Georgia and Carolyn Mancil and husband John of Jasper, Texas. Also his many nieces and nephews that he was very proud of.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William “WB” and Helen Jones and his brother Tommy Jones, Billy Jones and Terry Jones.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
