Obituary of Granville Owen Dennis, Jr May 15, 1991 - October 18, 2024

Granville Owen Dennis, Jr, 33, of Woodville, Texas passed away Friday, October 18, 2024 in Silsbee, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. service time on Monday, November 28, 2024 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Campground Cemetery all in Woodville. Officiating will be Brother David Clark. Serving as pallbearers will be Marvin Lee, Jr., Solomon Reid, Steph Shumate, and Jessie Oronigo.

Owen was born May 15, 1991 to Granville Owen Sr. and Martha Ann Lee Dennis in Lufkin, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of Woodville and longtime painter. Owen enjoyed drawing, tattoo artistry, and writing quotes.

He was preceded in death by his father, Granville Owen Dennis, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Lee and Nyla Dennis; and maternal grandfather, Marvin Lee.

He is survived by his mother, Martha Dennis of Woodville; daughter, Annaliese Rose Mitchell of Call; grandmother, Mary Lee of Lufkin; sisters, Tasha Lee of Huntington, Mary Dennis and Amanda Haughton both of Woodville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
