Obituary of Eunice Estelle Vinson November 20, 1928 - February 9, 2025

Eunice Estelle Vinson, 96, of Chester, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025 in Chester, Texas.

A memorial service and celebration of Eunice’s life will be held 2 p.m. on Monday, February 10, 2025 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Chester, Texas.

Eunice was born November 20, 1928 to Robert E. and Estelle Mae Miller Carl in Camden, Texas. A graduate of Sour Lake High School. Eunice retired after over 30 years as Post Master of the Chester Post Office. She enjoyed reading, sewing and making “Granny Bread”. Eunice loved her family, especially grands, great grands and great-great grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, George E. Vinson and wife Gayle of Chester, and Carl W. Vinson and wife Vicky of Kountze; daughters, Susan Clamon and husband Dale of Chester, Barbie Luther and husband Bill of El Dorado, AR, and Vicki Stanphill and husband Lyle of Livingston; also survived by numerous grands, great grands, great-great grandchildren and other family and friends.
