Obituary of David S. Worsham September 15, 1943 - October 18, 2024

David Samuel Worsham, 81, of Buna died Friday, October 18, 2024 at his home in Buna.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, October 26, at Friendship Baptist Church with burial at Morse Cemetery in Buna under the direction of Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Friday at the church.

A native and lifelong resident of Buna, he was a retired pipefitter from the paper mill.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Frances Worsham of Buna; children, Michael Worsham and wife Susan of Vidor; Donald Worsham and wife Amy of Buna; Jamie Worsham and wife Martha of Buna; and Melissa Lara and husband John of Buna; a brother, Jerry Worsham of San Antonio; 8 grandchildren, Caitlyn Stuckey, Penelope Worsham, Hayley Worsham, Max Worsham, Cameron Worsham, Nate Lara, Calvin Lara and Carter Worsham.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Eva Worsham; daughter, Elizabeth Worsham; brothers, John Henry Worsham, Calvin Worsham and Curtis Worsham; and granddaughters Laura Stuckey and Natalie Sanders.
