Dale Wayne Morris Obituary

It is with great sadness that we, the family of Dale Wayne Morris, announce his passing on November 20, 2024.

Born on January 10, 1948, in Port Arthur, Tx, Dale was the son of Howard and Leota Morris. He graduated from Bridge City High School in 1966 and worked as a supervisor with Chevron Chemical Plant for 32 years. He married his high school sweetheart, Sandra Trusty Morris and together they raised three children, Tisha Morris, Misty Morris, and Christie Ware.

Our dad will be greatly missed by family and friends. His family was his pride and joy and his greatest role in life was being a “Poppie” to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. From buying and restoring houses and spending time with neighbors and friends, to being present at grandchildren’s softball games, Dad positively impacted the community and always made others smile and laugh. He was the heart and soul of our family and would never hesitate to help anyone that was in need.

He is survived by his wife Sandra; three daughters, Tisha, Misty, and Christie (husband: Chris Ware); eleven grandchildren, Tristin (wife: Josie Smith), Dylan, Leslie (husband: Jordan Bell), Taylor (husband: Juan Castillo), Allie, Olivia, Joshua, Conner, Emily, Sarah, Klohe; and nine great grandchildren, Kora, Vincent, Ellamae, Samuel, Jacob, Cooper, Oakley, Cameron, and Lillian. His legacy will forever live on through the countless lives you touched and the lessons you taught us.

Though we mourn your loss, we also celebrate the incredible life you lived. Thank you for being the best father any of us could ask for. We love you; we miss you, and we will continue to make you proud. Rest in peace, Dad.

At the request of his family, funeral services will be held privately. A celebration of life event will be scheduled and held for family, friends, and community later to celebrate his life and the love he shared.
