Chester H. Jarrell. Jr., 89, of Buna died Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Oakwood Manor in Vidor.

Born Dec. 19, 1930 in Knight, Louisiana to Chester H. Jarrell, Sr. and Cassie (Denby) Jarrell, he was a longtime resident of Buna and a retired truck driver.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Buna with burial at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

He is survived by two sons, Marty Jarrell and Susan of Yantis, Texas and Keith Jarrell and Tonya of Vidor, Texas; 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Mae Jarrell/
