A Mass of Christian Burial for Buddy Earl Falkner, Jr. will be held at 1:30 PM on Monday, October 7, 2024, at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church with Rev. Chad Partain officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Sunday, October 6, 2024, and resume from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM on Monday, October 7, 2024, at the John Kramer & Son Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 6:30 PM on Sunday, October 6, 2024, in the

Kramer chapel.


Services will continue for Buddy in Kirbyville, Texas, on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Visitation will continue from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM at Our Lady of La Salette Catholic Church.


Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 1:30 PM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Our Lady of La Salette Catholic Church. Interment will be held in Davis Cemetery, Kirbyville, Texas, on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, following the Mass.


Buddy is preceded in death by his parents, Buddy Earl Falkner, Sr. and Velma Colleen King, and one son, Kenneth Falkner.


Buddy Earl Falkner, a beloved husband and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Born on September 24, 1944, in Texas, Buddy was a shining light in the lives of all who knew him.


A true car enthusiast, Buddy found joy in the intricacies of vehicles and shared that passion with friends and family. His dedication to his loved ones was unwavering; he was a devoted family man who always put their needs first. As a devout Catholic, Buddy found strength and inspiration in his faith, actively serving as a Eucharistic minister and reader during Mass. He prayed for the canonization efforts of Charlene Marie Richard, which reflected his deep spiritual commitment to his faith.


Buddy was known for his kindness and generosity, a true "Buddy" to all. His warm spirit and infectious laughter left a lasting impression on all those fortunate enough to cross his path. Music was another passion of his; he found solace and joy in playing the piano and organ, often filling in where needed with melodies that brought people together. Professionally, Buddy worked as an office and payroll manager with Brown and Root in Texas for over 20 years. He later transitioned to work with his wife in her medical practice, where he served as office manager, showcasing his commitment to family both at home and in his work.


Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 43 years, Erlinda Tan, MD; brother, Randy Falkner, and sister, Kimberly Falkner Hughes (Rick), along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.


Pallbearers honored to serve are Ian Kho, Hon. Judge Chris Hazel, Fritz Garganta, Mario de Silva, MD, Joseph Mendoza, Jun Awill be Anthony Amigo, MD, Gregory Brian, MD, Reuben Roy, MD, Randy Mathews, James bella, Randy Tarver, and Bob Greiner. Honorary pallbearers Campbell, Gary Lee, Jeff Samillano, and Benjamin McAlister.
