Obituary of Billy Jack Barbo April 5, 1957 - January 19, 2025

Graveside Celebration of Billy Jack Barbo’s Life, age 67, of Jasper, Texas, will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 24, 2025 at Antioch Cemetery in Buna, Texas.

Billy passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at the University of Texas Health East Texas in Tyler, Texas.

A native and former resident of Beaumont, Texas, Billy has been a resident of Jasper, Texas for over 25 years and was a 1975 graduate of South Park High School in Beaumont. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, boating, kite flying, traveling, fishing, gardening and raising his chickens. He is a retired mechanic from Timberjack in Jasper.

Billy is survived by his wife of 14 years, Tina Pizzo Barbo of Jasper, Texas; brothers, Larry Curtis Barbo of Jasper, Texas and Rodney Barbo of Timpson, Texas and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Ima Jean Barbo; wife, Susan Barbo and brothers, Danny Barbo, Jerry Dale Barbo and Bobby Gene Barbo.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
