Obituary for Suzanne Clerc Morgan July 9, 1951 - September 17, 2024

A Celebration of Suzanne Clerc Morgan’s Life, age 73, of Jasper, Texas, will be 10:00 am, Friday, September 20, 2024 at Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper, Texas with burial following at Ebenezer Cemetery in Jasper, Texas. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at the funeral home.

Suzanne passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at her home in Jasper, Texas surrounded by her loving family.

A lifelong resident of the Ebenezer Community in Jasper, Texas, she loved animals, especially horses. She enjoyed canning vegetables, quilting and sewing. Her most precious moments were spent with her family.

Suzanne is survived by her husband of 52 years, Gerry Morgan of Jasper, Texas; son, Luke Morgan and wife Kristi of Jasper, Texas; daughter, Sherry Rhodes and husband Phil of Denton, Texas; brothers, James Hejsek and wife Vickie of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Clarence A. Clerc II and wife Cheryl of Silsbee, Texas; sister, Donna A. Clerc Armstrong of Jasper, Texas; five grandchildren, Cort Rhodes, Westin Rhodes, Harley Rhodes, Preston Morgan and Meagan Morgan; and two great-grandchildren, Bentley Morgan and Devin Morgan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence andMary Clerc and brother, Allan Clerc.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens’ Hospital PO Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38148.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
