Newton County Republican Club - Monthly Meeting Update

The Newton Co. Republican Club (NCRC) met July 21st in the Howard Civic Center. Speakers were Jourdan Hartshorn and Frida Dillenbeck. Mr. Hartshorn is Newton County’s Emergency Manager for the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM). Hartshorn spoke about TDEM’s resources available to the county. Frida Dillenbeck spoke about the Newton Revitalization Group (NRG) which was organized this past February. NRG is a group of community citizens interested in revitalizing the City of Newton’s downtown area by cleaning up buildings around the courthouse square. The Newton Co. Republican Club’s next meeting is August18 at NOON in the Howard Civic Center. The speaker will be Lydia Damrel. She will be speaking on the "Grassroots Involvement at Precinct and County Conventions". NCRC’s monthly meetings are open to the PUBLIC.
