Newton County Forum - August 11th
The Texas Forest Country Partnership in collaboration with the Stephen F. Austin Center for Applied Research and Rural Innovation is currently scheduling forums with the county judges in each of our twelve (12) county region. I have attached the flyer and agenda for our first forum which will be held in Newton County for your reference.
The purpose of the forum is to enhance communication and share resources as appropriate to serve the economic development needs of our rural county partners.
The program will include a facilitated discussion on the topics of Workforce, Education, Infrastructure, Community Needs and Economic Development.
Central to the success of the forums is to gather information from local leaders. Your knowledge and advocacy for economic growth in our area will be vital to the success of this event.
