Nell Jane Jenkins Anderson January 27, 1934 - August 12, 2024

Nell Jane Jenkins Anderson, 90 years old, passed into the arms of Jesus Monday, August 12, 2024 at her home in Buna.  She was born January 27, 1934 in Newark, Texas. 

Nell was a much loved mother, sister, aunt, and grandmama.  Although she had many dreams for her life, she ultimately fulfilled her fondest dreams- that of being a mother.  She was also a very talented pianist, fabulous cook, amazing seamstress, and a fierce prayer warrior.  Most of all, she loved the Lord and her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren beyond measure. 

She began her life in Newark, Texas moving to Buna at the age of 5 where she spent the rest of her life.  A graduate of Bessmay Grammer School, she went on to graduate from Buna High School, class of 1951.

Nell is survived by her children, David Anderson, Lamanda Lanni and Jeff, and Joyce Kay Anderson.  Grandchildren, Melissa Parker and John, Adam Burt and Mindy, Matthew Lanni and Koti, Aaron Lanni, and Daniel Lanni.  Four great grandchildren are left to carry on her love, Colin Burt, Brent Parker, Addie Parker and Eliana Lanni. 

Nell was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Awilda Hardin Jenkins, her sister, Joy Marie Knight, and precious grandson, Jeremy Brent Anderson. 

Funeral service will be 1 pm Saturday, August 17, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Buna with burial at Antioch Cemetery.  Visitation will be 6-8 pm Friday, August 16 at the church. Pallbearers for the service will be Adam Burt, Colin Burt, Aaron Lanni, Daniel Lanni, Brent Parker, Matthew Lanni, and John Parker.
