Updated:
Two explosions have rocked the Mount Union Community. Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to 136 private road 5105 otherwise known as Musselwhite Hill at around 4:15 Sunday afternoon after a camper and trailer exploded. Just a few moments later, a second vehicle also exploded.
Dispatch said that the caller thinks someone may have been inside but that is currently unconfirmed.
EMS has also been called out and we have reporters on the scene. We will update our readers as more information is made available.
Updated: Jasper County Information Officer Karli Cherry said that there were no injuries. Cherry also said that they believe that there was something inside the camper that caused the explosion, but they do not believe it was caused by any outside source.
