Mary Melissa "Missy" Smith July 13, 1968 - Aug. 25, 2024

Mary Melissa "Missy" Smith, 56 of Kirbyville passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024 at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston.

Funeral service will be 2 pm Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Jasper County Cowboy Church.  Visitation will begin at 1 pm prior to service.  

Born July 13, 1968 to John Reese Y'Barbo and Judith Ann (Woosley) in Kirbyville, she was a lifelong resident of Roganville and worked for Jasper County Cowboy Church. 

She is survived by her husband, Mike Smith of ; daughters, Jesse Gordan and Matt Wilson of Roganville, Jayme Smith and Kyle Long of Roganville; father, John Y'Barbo of Roganville; sister, Teresa Sonnier of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Michael Gordon, Gabriel Gordon, Sutton James Long.

She was preceded in death by mother, Judith Y'Barbo and brother, Kenneth Y'Barbo.
