Mack truck overturned spilling wood chips in parking lot Wednesday

At 8:41 Wednesday morning, Jasper Police were called out to Hwy 190 East and Hwy 63 in Jasper for an accident.

When officers arrived, they found a white 2019 Mack truck and a 2022 Peerless trailer with a load of wood chips had turned over onto its side, spilling the entire contents into a parking lot. The driver, 75-year-old Gary Bryant of Hull, Texas said that as he turned onto 190, his load shifted causing the incident.

Bryant was taken to Jasper Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
