Local Teen Shines Bright at Double Header Pageant in Beaumont

Seventeen-year-old Kamryn Loyd of Kirbyville has made headlines after a spectacular performance at the Multinational Miss Texas and Multinational Miss Beaumont Pageant on October 6th at the Elegante Hotel in Beaumont. Under the direction of Dr. Cequana W. Clark-Lee and Starr Lee Alvarez, the event showcased a lineup of talented contestants, but it was Kamryn who stole the show.

The senior at Kirbyville High School, and daughter of Tom and Shanna Loyd, brought home the prestigious titles of Multinational Miss Texas Teen and Multinational Miss Beaumont Teen. This remarkable achievement adds to her impressive resume, which includes over 100 titles accumulated throughout her pageant career. Kamryn is also the former 2023 Miss Kirbyville and has competed in pageants since she was a baby.

In her latest competition, Kamryn excelled in several categories, including Fun Fashion, Formal wear, and Interview, earning not only the coveted titles but also a $200 scholarship. "It was a great day of competing, and we couldn't be more proud of seeing her shine on stage doing what she loves," said her mother, Shanna Loyd.

In addition to her pageant pursuits, Kamryn is a dedicated student, participating as a Varsity Cheerleader, member of the Varsity Tennis team, and active in the Student Council. Balancing her academics and extracurricular activities, she demonstrates a commitment to excellence both in and out of the classroom.

With her new titles, Kamryn is set to embark on a year-long contract with the Miss Multinational Miss Texas System. This role will involve community service projects, volunteer hours, and special appearances. Kamryn's eagerness to give back to her community is a testament to her selflessness and is sure to inspire others to do the same.

As Kamryn prepares for this exciting journey ahead, she continues to inspire her peers and the Kirbyville community with her determination and grace. Her recent achievements are a testament to her hard work and dedication, proving that dreams can indeed come true for those who dare to pursue them.
